Is Your Car Your BFF?
I first opened my doors in September 2012 in Oxford, England. I’m an electric blue, UK made Mini Cooper and proud, baby! My start in life was a difficult one, for my first few months I was driven by quite a few people as the company who bought me hired me out – so many bums, so little time! I had no name, I did not belong to anyone, and I wanted so much to be loved. To belong. I was treated like a work horse which I definitely am not. I’m not flashy (although I am cute), I don’t want to do thousands of miles, or be used as an office. I wanted to be a part of someone’s life and be cared for. Those first few months were so difficult for me, used as something I did not want to be.
Then along came Suzie! Suzie has a fabulous mane of copper hair, big blue eyes (the same colour as me), and when we met it was love at first sight for us both. Suzie loved my colour, she said it reminded her of blue skies on a summer’s day. She loved my compact size as it was just like her, and she loved my front grill as she said it looked as though I was smiling – which I was! We became instant BFF’s and our friendship grew and grew!
That’s where my life really began, I finally belonged to a wonderful owner. She even named me:
